Good Reads: A UX/UI Case Study
Good Reads is a website and app for book lovers to track reading progress, create lists of books for future reading, leave and read reviews and commentary on books, and an overall community for readers to discuss topics, titles, authors and more. The website has so many options for users to connect, discover new authors and books, and discuss. The app, however, lacks many of the functions available on the website, or has them in a way that make it difficult to navigate.
I have done a mini case study on the app alone, looking at the major pain points and offering my recommended solutions, as well as a redesign in order to achieve a more user friendly and updated appeal.
